Training program for journalists and students studying journalism

clip_image002On 23 June 2011 Transparency Azerbaijan, national chapter of Transparency International organized a training program for journalists and students studying journalism. The program   entitled Legal Means To Get Access To Information and Transparency of Public Agencies was organized within the framework of Advocacy and Legal Advice Centers project funded by the USAID.  Participants received information on the types and forms of corruption and the role of media in the combat against corruption. At the same journalists had an opportunity to share their problems encountered when attempting to obtain information and were provided with information on relevant legal means.
