WORKSHOP ON “TANSPARENCY MECHANISMS IN ENTREPRENEURIAL ACTIVITIES” WAS ORGANIZED

Transparency Azerbaijan, with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) organized a workshop to discuss transparency mechanisms in entrepreneurial activities. The workshop is the latest in a series within the Azerbaijan Partnership for Transparency (APT) project designed to facilitate enlightenment among youth with the aim of increasing transparency and accountability of government institutions and processes.
The seminar was held at the»SM Consulting LTD»; Nariman Narimanov district; M.Alizade 118A-16, from 13.00 to 15.00 on October 17, 2015. The aim of the seminar was to provide students and youth with the information about the transparency and accountability mechanism of having entrepreneurial activities and to explain the employment relations between employer and employee.
Mr. EminSattarov provided information about proper analysis and application guidelines of taxes in entrepreneurial activities; explanation of the operations that might result in risk or financial losses for the entrepreneurs; the rights and obligations of the taxpayer;.Youth and students from different universities were planned to attend the roundtable, which centered on the explanation of employment contract and main points to take into consideration while signing the contract with the employer as well as rights and obligations in labor relationships.
The subsequent part of the event was organized in an interactive format, in which expert responded to the questions from youth about different cases, which were related in their own business plans and activities.
