TRAINING ON “HOW TO BUILD COMMUNICATION WITH STATE-AGENCIES” WAS ORGANIZED FOR YOUTH AND STUDENTS

DSC_0421Transparency Azerbaijan and the Local Executive Authority in Guba, with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), organized a training to discuss How to Build Communication with State-Agencies. The training was the latest in a series within the Azerbaijan Partnership for Transparency Project designed to facilitate enlightenment among youth on increasing transparency and accountability of government institutions and processes. Speaking at the event, Ayten Alizamanli, lawyer of Transparency Azerbaijan, Sevinj Samadzade, and Saadat Abdullazade, independent experts delivered informative training.

In Guba, youth and students from different universities attended the training, which centered on efficient tools to contact with the state-agencies to tackle their community and other problems and importance of participation of youth in transparent and good governance. Moreover, the trainers were able to advance theoretical knowledge of youth through practical assignments and tasks in the training.

Next session of the training was devoted to interactive brainstorming among the youth, and at the end the experts answered all the questions of the youth. Youth praised the event and mentioned that such kind of events on this topic should be continued to educate the youth in this field in the future.

The purpose of the training was to inform youth in the regions of the country about various actions and reforms of the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to provide transparency in different public services.
